im 16 n i think im drinking too much. during the school i would drink friday sat n sunday with my friends. sumtimes thursday. oh n also smoke cigs. dont do drugs. now that its summer ive been drinking every day n smokin alnmost every. n about a third of all the times gettin drunk. rite now im in spain for vacation with my family n i havnt drank n smoked for more than a week.. i feel fine. but i worry im headin down the wrong road. i have great grades n am a good kid but..

Finding things hard.?

I have been split up from partner nearly months. We have 2 kiddies together and were together nearly 10 yrs. You might want to get another xray especially if your doctor told you you might have it. When I got an xray for it they told me to come back back 6 months later to see if the degree changed, and sure enough, it did. So I would make an appointment because it's very serious.

Osgood schlatters in left knee...

I'm a 13 year old girl and i have had osgood schlatters in my left knee for about 3 years. it was never this painful until i started playing on an all star softball team this year and that made it even worse then it was before. and im also very active. soft over now and now i have cheerleading 4 nights a week and its not helping it i know. but ever since softball i have been having really bad pain in it and sometimes when im running or walking it like bends backward and hurts really bad. and its all swollen it looks like there is another growth on the side but its just swelling. my whole knee is like oversized it looks pretty funny when its next to the other one=] so i went to the dr. and he said that if i can play through the pain then i can play sports and stuff but if the pain gets 2 unbarable we will consider surgery but i really dont want it. so is there anything i can do to make the swelling and pain go away? i have tried advil and tylonal and icing it but nothing works...heating pad..icy hot...tiger bomb..nothing! please answer soon thanks =]

What ground does my gm have?

I'm a manager at a theatre. We are a cooperation and my GM told the salary manager who make the schedule to not schedule me and another fellow manager together. We have only worked once together and after that he told them never to schedule us again. That day a few things went wrong but everything was handel and not much of it could of been helped, but I've notice my GM getting upset at Jon(my other manager) and then becoming upset at me if he happened to show up to watch a movie. Today we got our schedule for next week and me and Jon have total opposite schedule if I'm working he's off and if he's working then I'm off or I come in and he's off. Yesterday me and jon open together and my GM came in on his off day to see someone in and finish up schedule? Which that normally doesn't happen seeing we have 2 more gm and he can do it all from home, then he followed jon for about 10mins not talking at all but what grounds does he have to not schedule us together? well what can i say lifes pretty good but i got things that bother me like everybody else and what bothers me the most day to day is age. The reason for this is im always hanging around people much older than me. My best friends are 18 and 19, one being my cousin that ive been around my whole life and his friends so ive been older kids but my other best friends was friends with my cousin and thats how we got to be such good friends just a year or so ago. Alot of times im hanging out with people who are 18 or older which i get treated fine cause ive always been around older people and im much more mature than anyone my age.. but when they find out how old i am i feel like in the back of there mind they think about it or blame it on me when it comes to something you might need to be a adult for. By the way i'm 15 almost 16 but it just bothers me to know when i hang out with 22 or 23 year olds that im being judged in the back of there mind even though we get along good and talk just like anyone else. My 10 month old son won't let me out of his sight?

I have a 10 month old son and up until now he has been pretty independent. Recently he has taken to me more than anyone. If I put him in his exersacuer for 2 seconds, he begins to cry hysterically and want me to hold him. He won't even take a bath because he wants me to hold him. I don't hold him all of the time, I don't always give him what he wants 24/7 but he doesn't do this to my husband. Why is this dream making me so depressed?

l usually go to the gym in the morning but today, l just couldn't be bothered and thought about a lot of other things and l had a little dream about losing my dad and when l immediately woke up, l ran into his room to make sure he was there. Anytime you open a machine language program, it will display as text. This is simply referred to as garbage. To open a machine language program you must either use Debug or the language program with which it was created with (most likely C++). Your problem is NOT that everything has gone to text but most LIKELY your opsys has been nailed. The question is does ANYTHING display normally such as your desktop? If it displays, then your opsys is OK. You need to find a program that has a GUI restore.

My budgies wont step up my fingers?

Hi, I've 2 budgies for about a month (2-year old and 8-mth old respectively). They both let me pat and touch them (the older one would be shakening and they dont seem to like being touched but they let me anyway), they never step up my fingers. Also they never wanted to come out the cage (I grabbed them out and they sat with me for a while but all they wanted to do is to go back in the cage. How do I color fondant REALLY red ( not pink, or pastel, as food coloring will make)?

Go to your local baking supply store or to Michaels. They have gel colorings in little jars. Regular food colorings have too much liquid and can change the texture of your fondant (waaay too gooey), gels are definitely the way to go. Unfortunately red and black are the hardest colors to attain. Depending on how much fondant you need to color, you may need a full jar. Sometimes the gel coloring can make the fondant a little tacky too, just kneed in some more powdered sugar and you're good to go. Good luck!

Good chance is that ovary has atrophied and is no longer functioning. Go to your Dr and see about hormone replacement therapy. I gradually phased out my hormone pills when I reached 60. My ovaries had ceased to function due to a tubal ligation that interfered with the supply to my ovaries. When i had a hysterectomy at age 40 my ovaries had not been functioning for about 8 years.

I completely agree. This is a stereotype that me and my friends poke fun at all the time. I myself am also quite guilty of this. I remember once back in highschool we were filming a movie for our school's audio visual club and we needed extras. We asked this group of people and they laughed and they were like do you want all Asians in your movie? I questioned this and I was like huh? Because one of the men there was from India. The joke took me a second to get and I was like "Oh I get it ha ha". When people think Asian they think the countries you mention and no where else. Geography in my opinion has always been a subject the average American performs quite poorly in but even for someone like me who knows that you don't have to be from those countries only to be Asian always thinks of those countries first when they hear Asian (so does everyone else be honest). Aww, I don't think you're the only girl out there who's addicted to makeup. I've actually seen a girl in my english cl put on liner and eye shadow while we were suppose to be silent reading! (she just proped up a big book and did it behind the book, lol) Anyways, I know if feel like if you don't wear makeup and you show up to school, you think that people will be looking at you and think that you look really different but trust me that not the case! I'd say that you can still wear makeup, but cut back on stuff you don't really need (come on, you know what i'm talking about!). So maybe a routine that would be confortable for you would be: concealer, fondation, bronzer, and mascara. I know it might feel weird without some of your other products but just know that it's better for your skin. And honestly, some guys don't even notice. I had mascara on the other day and I asked my guy friend how it looked on me and he was like: "Um, you have mascara on?" ~sigh~ Men...lol :P So just cut back slowly, only use things you really need, and for those touch-up times, just put on something like lip balm or gloss. You'll feel like you finished your 'task' and you won't go into a panic attack. So just calm down, breathe, and walk into the hallways knowing that you're good enough. Best of luck! :)

How can I add information to my already finalized divorce decree or just plain get my car?

Okay. So I kinda keep asking the same question but in the wrong way I guess. My situation is this. I got my divorce decree signed by the judge at the County Clerks office back in October and it states that the Infiniti FX35 that my husband had in his name (but we were both paying for) was to go to me and he would get the other vehicle. He died in December and we didnt get the title changed over to my name yet. We also didnt have the VIN on the divorce decree for the car and now the MVD is saying that my divorce decree has to have the VIN on it for them to change the car over to me because it could be any Infiniti (which is really dumb to me because there was only one Infiniti that we owned-duh). Working on a budget for a 20K per year salary.?

So I may be getting a job with a hospital-based EMS service as an EMT-B in Oklahoma. On the low end I'll be making about 20K a year working two 24 hour shifts a week plus whatever part time job I get. The job also gives great benefits (health, disability, insurance discounts, continuing education credit and such). I have a vehicle (2008 Jeep Wrangler) which is paid off completely so all I'll be paying is insurance. Im also planning to upgrade to paramedic after a year of B experience and the hospital subsidizes the cles required (translating to more pay and job opportunities). So is it possible to live comfortably like this and what's a good recommendation for budgeting a low salary like this? Thanks to anyone who answers.

Suspended License Question Please Read!?

I had a suspended licensce for 7 years due to not paying tickets. I have been pulled over 4 times for driving on suspended. Last time i was put on probation for a year sentenced to 20 hours community service. I completed that successfully but still did not obtain my license. I got pulled over in december for disregarding a stop sign. The officer gave me a ticket for that and driving on suspended with the fine being jail, but he did not lock me up. I have to go to court for the other one. So i finally broke down and paid the almost 3000.00 for my license to be reinstated last month. I found out that my court date is not until july 28. So do you think if i go in there and show them i have a valid license will they suspend it again or put me on probation?? Show i seek a attorney?? Do I really need to take another smear test?

I have taken regular smear tests since the age of 25 (all normal) and am now 51. I have been married to the same man for 27 years and we are both faithful. I have never taken the oral contraceptive for a long period and do not smoke. I am very wary of screening now as I went for my first routine mammogram last September and was diagnosed with DCIS which was treated by lumpectomy and radiotherapy. There are now various studies that state that women are going through unnecessary treatment for DCIS and apparently abnormal cervical cells. I had just started a new job which I subsequently lost. Now I am about to start a new job and keep receiving invitations for my smear test. I know it seems silly but I am finding it difficult to face this test and if it the benefits outweigh the risks then I would prefer not to have it.

I have a microsft Multimedia keyboard but I can't control iTune's playback when it's minimized. It only controls WMP. How can I set iTunes as the default program for the keyboard?

Is slab foundation really that big of a deal?

The problem is, the majority of the homes within my budget are built on slab foundation-- not with a crawlspace. My advice to you would be have everyone get together, or you could just do it yourself, and make a list of requirements for the position. That way it would take some pressure off of you. It would make it more about choosing a person who is best qualified for the position rather than sucking up to the top dog. Proper breathing techniques (in relation to exercise)?

I was taught one should breath in through the nose, expanding the stomach and then exhale through the mouth while contracting the stomach in towards the spine. My question is, should one do this while running or during other strenuous exercise? I've been trying it, and it seems to work just fine (possibly even helping a bit with oxygen flow), but also strains my stomach. I image that may simply be because my stomach muscles aren't used to expanding and contracting consciously and almost counter-intuitively, but I worry it might be the result of improper breathing technique. Can anyone shed some light on this for me? Thanks!

Hair Thinning/Hair Loss Question.?

I am only 21 and my hair is beginning to thin and I've got a little bit of a receding hair line. I definetly believe there are ways to regrow the thin spots back out until it is thick and nice again. I've found some ways so far and one of the ways is to mage the hair and scalp with aloe vera gel or coconut milk for 15-20 minutes after you bath with water, then rinse with warm water. Now I tried to get some 100% aloe vera gel at my health food store where I work, but most of the gels had additives in the product. For the recipe, it only said "aloe vera gel", and nothing more. Im not sure what kind to get and im not sure what additives should be avoided in order to REALLY improve hair regrow instead of making it worse. In some of the aloe vera gels was a citric acid as a preservitive and I wasnt sure if the citric acid would thin hair even more. Can someone with experience in this kind of thing please give me some advice? Thanks.

Med School-- India or the Carribean?

I am a first year undergrad student at a Canadian university. I have lived in Canada my entire life, and want to pursue medicine as a career. I do not want to fall into the jeopardy of completing my bachelors and awaiting entry into med school. I basically want to practice faster. If I go to either place it is 5 years + clinical (yr) = 6 years max...thus even if the Kaplan and qualifying exams take two years, thats still 8 years (vs. 10 from the Canadian/American system). Which would be a better place? I personally prefer India, but my parents want me in St.Xavier (Bonaire). I have had friends go to the Carribean and India (and the ones who went to India had better grades)... no irrelevant answers please.

Low estrogen low progesterone low cortisol reasons??

After feeling terrible for about two years, my doctors finally did some tests and figured out that I have very low estrogen (21 and it should have been between 100-150), low progesterone (1.5 and it should have been 4-8) and low cortisol (don't remember.) Other tests were normal (chol, sugar, t3, t4, total thyroid, etc.) I am a 33 yo female (and my FSH was normal, so not premenopausal.) I am not anorexic nor an athlete. I was a personal trainer for two years and exercised a lot but I have not been for the last year, and have subsequently gained 30 pounds. My symptoms are severe fatigue, depression (on anti-depressant now), some joint acheyness, a lot of sleep disturbance (sweaty when I awake in night,) and cold extremities (have always had the last one.) I just want to know WHY this might be happening. GP's rx is for bioidentical hormones (E3, E2) and prog. THOUGHTS??

Can I play .AVI files on Windows Media Player 9 for Mobile Devices?

I have a PDA with Pocket PC 4.20.1081 and Windows Media Player 9 and I want to know, can I get it to play .AVI files? I can't figure out how to make WMP open them, it acts like all it will play are WMV and WMA files. If I can't make it work is there something like Real Player for Pocket PC?

I just recently took an online "green" test to see how much CO2 I contribute to the atmosphere. Well the results werent that great, I more than double the average American, which is kind of dissapointing becuase I think I try. In any case, my home and car doesnt emit much, and there are things I can do to be better, but what really killed my score is the fact that I seem to be flying way to much. I take 1 overseas trip, and 6-8 domestic flights a year either for business, vacations, or to visit family. It seemed that I was contributing much more CO2 to the enviroment due to the flights. The flights will go on without me, so how would me not flying help the enviroment? Should I seriously reconsider trying not to fly to save the enviroment? Thanks for the input.

Could you explain a little more about them? I keep hearing conflicting things about who is better for the economy, a democrat or republican. Under Bill Clinton, the economy did great, but the other side argues that the tech boom was responsible for this. I find it to be highly coincidental that under Reagan the economy struggled and amazingly the economy improved under Clinton and suddenly became bad again when GW took over. I have two cats, a male and a female. They're both around 1 year old give or take a few months. Recently my male was diagnosed with a possible case of IBS and was put on gastro intestinal food to help his poops solidify. Recently, however, one or both of them have been pooping outside the litter box, half a foot away in front of my dryer. I've been dutifully cleaning it up, scolding them, and putting it in the litter box. Today, however, I noticed that there was bit of blood in the mess, kind of viscous. My roommate (who admittedly cleans up more then I do as she is home more often) said that she's noticed if for a few weeks and didn't think it was important. I'm making a vet appointment tomorrow, but I'm wondering if its an emergency like thing.

You could forgo repairs to the old machine and use the money to buy a new computer. I'm not saying get rid of the old one, it's a good machine, but you could have one computer for gaming, and the other for personal things like surfing the internet, etc. Plus you'd probably run into less hang-ups in compatibility by getting a complete system.
