Thoughts on my book report for The Hobbit?

Is your ignment just to summarize the book? That's what this feels like to me, which is fine, if that's the ignment. However, it's a little hard to make out what's happening. Who are the characters? Could you explain a little more about them? For example, Bilbo is a ___ who likes ___ and does ___ and plays this part in the book (protagonist, antagonist), etc. I think you have a solid start on a summary, but if you're supposed to yze or explain this a bit more, then it needs some work.
