Folicles in Ovaries? I had a US scan last week, and teh person who did the scan said that both my ovaries ...?

looked normal, and that there were follicles on them, she didn't really say much else other than she couldn't see anything nasty and that i will get my results next week. I came on AF the day after the scan, my question is what does follicles on ovaries mean>? as im ttc and I really want to no, thanks in advanmce . xx
