Please explain: "I like my freedom, that's why i'm REPUBLICAN"?

last time i checked the GOP tapped your phone, instituted the patriot act, curtailed your religious freedom, disallowed abortion, advocated an unregulated market for corporations to serve their own interests, lied, stealed, and cheated (although the last three are not partisan and have nothing to do with the issue, they are still fun to include).
